Slub yarn is spun on purpose with thick-and-thin variation, so the surface reads with texture instead of flat. We shot ours side by side — 140 gsm, 16 single, 16/2 single, 378 gsm — so you can see how the slub reads as the cloth gets heavier.

The light end drapes for tees. The heavy end holds its shape for overshirts and heavier knits. Same yarn character, completely different hand. Everything below is knit in Los Angeles and cut to order by the yard.
