KBM has been family run for over forty years. We started in Los Angeles in 1984 and we're still here, still doing knits, in the same trade and the same city. Four decades is a long time to get good at one thing.
In that time we've made just about every knit there is, and we can customize any of them. Jersey, French terry, fleece, rib, waffle, interlock, in whatever weight, blend, or color you need. If you can spec it, chances are we've run something like it, and if we haven't, we'll work it out with you. That's what forty years of experience buys you.
And you can check us. Six years on Etsy with the reviews public. Thousands of makers on Instagram and TikTok watching the goods get made. A warehouse at 1460 Naud Street you can walk into Sunday through Friday.

Any construction, in the weight, blend, or color you need. Need 380 GSM instead of 350? Done. Forty years in, there isn't much we haven't run.
Minimums by the roll
Wholesale starts at one full roll, and the minimum is different for every fabric. Try a weight, reorder when it sells, and you're not stuck with what's left.
You get a person
Forty years, same family. You deal with the same people every time, and you get a yes or a no, not a ticket number.

Wholesale is one full roll or more. Under a roll is retail, cut to order, no minimum, right here on the site. Same fabric off the same roll. More rolls, better price.
How to order wholesale
- Send the form. Fabric, weight, rough yardage, when you need it. A tech pack helps but you don't need one. "Heavyweight hoodie fleece, about 400 yards, need it by March" is enough to start.
- We send swatches. You can't pick knits off a screen. We'll mail you the fabrics that fit what you're making, with weight, fiber and width on every card.
- You get a quote. Real pricing on real yardage, with freight. Leave your number and we can text it.
- Approve it and we go. Stock ships off the roll. Custom knit or custom dye gets scheduled and you get a date.
- Reorder anytime. No minimum on reorders once you're set up. By then we know your spec.
The questions we get
What's the minimum?
One full roll. The minimum is different for every fabric, since a roll of heavy fleece is a different yardage than a roll of light jersey. More rolls, better price either way.
What if I need less than a roll?
Buy it at retail on the main site. Cut to order, any length, no minimum, same fabric off the same roll. Come to wholesale when your volume gets there.
I'm on the East Coast. Does that work?
Most of our wholesale goods ship out of state. Ground from LA is a few days. Freight gets quoted with your pricing.
Can I see it before I commit?
Yes, and you should. Ask for swatches in the form. If you're in Los Angeles, come to the warehouse. 1460 Naud Street, Sunday through Friday, 9:30 to 5.
Can you match a fabric I'm already buying?
Send us a cutting. Most of the time, yes.
